Water Lily Lake

Water Lily Lake is one of Lori’s unique natural treasures. Located 1.2 km northeast of the village of Urasar in Lori Province, the lake is home to water lilies, rare plants listed in the Red Book of Armenia. The water lilies bloom only during July and August, and their beauty is best seen in the morning hours. The white-flowered water lilies have become extremely rare. They grow in still and slow-flowing lakes of Lori Province.
