Aramyants castle is Swiss-style, built in Akhtala, Lori region (19th century). It was built by well-known philanthropist Mikael Aramyants and is the only preserved castle in Armenia besides the Tairov castle in Vanadzor. On December 15, 2016, by the decision of the government, it was included in the state list of immovable historical and cultural monuments and received the status of a historical and cultural monument.
