The Sedwu monastery complex of medieval Armenian architecture is located 3 km south of the village in the Sedwu gorge. St. Nshan was preserved from the complex. Nshan Church was built in the 13th century. It is a rectangular, single-nave hall covered with a semi-cylindrical vault, with three pairs of columns and vaulted arches. On the east side is a semicircular tabernacle with a significantly lower stage. It has three entrances on the western, southern, and northern fronts (the northern one opens in the chapel). The roof is double-sloping with a large slope. It is built of bluish basalt cut stones. It is distinguished by its accentuated restrained decoration.
